The One Colour Special is specifically designed to keep your commuter on the road as long as possible. As with all specials, The One Colour Special comes with some fine print. Read The Golden Rules of the VéloColour One Colour Special before you book.
Design
Some customers know exactly what they want and look to VéloColour to execute their ideas, others don’t have a creative bone in their body. Either way, we’re here to help. Both Noah and Suzanne have design and fine art education and are more than qualified to help you make your dream bike come together with custom design work for you. Send us some inspiration images with colours, patterns or anything else that excites you and we can take it from there. Inspiration unrelated to bicycles can sometimes offer more freedom of design.
We’ll provide you with 2-3 frame and fork drawings, giving you options in colour and design and options to adjust from there- from $275

Carbon Fork - $250 (There may be additional costs in some cases for disk brake mounts or specialty forks.)

Touch-Ups
In addition to full repainting, we do touch-up work as well.
Starting price for a touch up is $250 but most jobs run between $350-$700 plus colour matching if needed.
(We do our best to create an exact colour match but some colours may not be possible to properly match)

Rust proofing - $60
Rear alignment/spacing with chased and faced bottom bracket - $75
Fork alignment - $45
Head badge removal and installation - $50
Clear Coat Only - $375 - $450 (This is for customers looking to protect an older frame or to do a gloss clear coat over a matte frame or vise versa)
Paint striping -$125 -$180 (Metal bikes only)
Braze-ons and small frame repairs. -We can handle small brazing jobs on your steel or stainless steel bike. Adding, adjusting or removing cable guides, fender bosses or altering other small details are something we offer and will quote on jobs accordingly.

Beyond Bicycles
Do you want to paint something that isn’t a bicycle? We’re OK with that - we’ll paint almost anything. Work is charged according to time spent (minimum starting price is $300). Email us an image of what you would like painted and we can provide an estimate.
The Fine Print
We bill hourly and do our best to estimate the time that will be spent. The above numbers are estimates and all jobs are invoiced according to actual time spent. Feel free to email for an estimate.
Your local mechanic should stripped of all components including headset & bottom bracket, if you don’t have a local mechanical we are happy to disassemble/reassemble your bike for you. For more information, check out our Mechanical Services.
Drop-off, pick-up and/or delivery are the responsibility of the customer.
Properly packing and shipping your frame takes time. We charge $75 on top of listed prices for this service. Shipping within North America is usually between CDN $180-$300.
Lead times range anywhere from 3 weeks to 3 months depending on the time of the year. We will need your bike in our shop for approx 2-6 weeks depending on paint complexity.
